Refurb N Up is a forward-thinking company committed to reducing e-waste and promoting sustainable technology practices in Pakistan. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) we specialize in refurbishing and health-certifying used electronic devices, extending their lifecycle and preventing them from ending up in landfills. By giving a second life to digital devices, we actively minimize environmental harm and promote a circular economy.
Refurb N Up is a proud graduate of the third cohort at the National Incubation Center Faisalabad (NICF) a flagship initiative funded by Ignite National Technology Fund and the Ministry of IT & Telecom. NICF is managed by Fauji Fertilizer Ltd. in partnership with Change Mechanics and CyberVision International, in collaboration with Founder Institute and GroundUp. The startup ecosystem provided by NICF has played a vital role in nurturing our vision of sustainable technology innovation.
In a major step forward, Refurb N Up, in collaboration with Technology & Management Integratix (TMI), has launched Pakistan’s first dedicated carbon emissions platform. This ground-breaking initiative has the potential to unlock the country’s untapped capacity in the global carbon credit market. With vast agricultural lands, forest reserves, and a growing portfolio of renewable energy projects, Pakistan holds significant potential to generate verifiable carbon credits.
This platform enables transparent emissions reporting, accurate tracking, and verification of reductions across key sectors—such as energy, transport, agriculture, and industry—thereby positioning Pakistan to certify and trade carbon offsets internationally. This innovation opens pathways to climate finance, green investment, and global climate leadership.
